Cobar Memorial Swimming Pool

The swimming pool complex consists of:

• Outdoor 7 lane 50m Pool

• Hydro program pool

• Wet splash play area

• Waterslide

• 1m Diving Board

There is a wheelchair access ramp available to enable easy access into the 50m and program pool.

Please check with facility staff for specific waterslide times and dates as it is subject to weather and staffing during October and March. Come December and January School Holidays, it is open EVERY DAY from 12-5pm.(weather dependant).

The waterslide is free to use when paying swimming pool admission. Did you know you can privately hire the water slide? $100.00 per hour and must be outside normal operational times.

The complex also offers plenty of spacious grass picnic areas with plenty of shade available, outdoor table tennis table, giant chess set, free under covered BBQ facilities and a kiosk (the Wriggly Bean - Fun, Fantastic Food).

Amenities include both women and men’s change rooms which are located onsite and contain toilets, free heated shower facilities. There is also a disabled toilet where the baby change table is located.

Cobar Memorial Swimming Pool is proudly managed by the Leisure and Recreation Group on behalf of Cobar Shire Council, providing high quality service, products and experience since 2012.

October and March

Monday to Friday: 6am - 8am; 10am - 6pm

Saturday and Saturday: 10am - 7pm

November and February

Monday to Friday: 6am - 8am; 10am - 7pm

Saturday and Sunday: 10am - 7pm

December and January

Monday to Friday: 6am - 8am; 10am - 8pm

Saturday and Sunday: 10am - 8pm

Public holiday hours are the same as weekend hours.

One off admission

Child 3 and under: Free

Child 4-17: $3

Aged pensioner: Free

Adult: $5.50

Spectator: $3

Non-swimming parent: Free

Full season passes

Child 4-17: $80

Adult: $150

Family (per Medicare card): $300

2-week pass adult: $50

All access passport

Anyone who holds a current Swim Season Pass is eligible to access any of the facilities under L+R Group management.

If you are visiting a facility that isn't your home facility, you will be required to show your Swim Season Pass on the iClassPro phone app, or provide your home membership details for our friendly staff to check your membership and record the attendance.
